Derek Strong & The (Space) Martians! is a cartoon television programme watched by the inhabitants of Do As You're Told. It is a show-within-a-show in Stoppit & Tidyup.

The show appears to be a science fiction-based programme and is aimed at children. It is seen in animation form and contains lots of noise and flashing imagery. It is about the adventures of Derek Strong in his ongoing fight against the Martians.
Derek himself has wavy blonde hair, a huge grin and the chiseled jaw expected of any action hero. He is seen carrying a blaster/gun of some kind and is not hesitant in using it. He may ware a black uniform of some kind.
There appear to be two types of Martian in the show: A green, scaly reptilian-looking one and a large blue/mauve furry one, both rather aggressive.
All the residents of Do As You're Told like to watch this programme, but it is Stoppit's favorite. Only Go To Bed does not like it, as all the noise keeps him awake.
